About Me

KerriAlise is a NYC-based bridal and eveningwear designer, fashion illustrator and beauty product sole-proprietor with 10+ years of experience in the NYC luxury retail and bridal design sectors. She is a Master of Design Strategy having obtained her most recent training from Parsons: New School for Design where she does most of her creating. Kerri specializes in custom-made bridal and evening gowns which are made-to-order. After getting a sense of the customers style, dress preferences and personality, Kerri provides fashion illustrations and swatches of lace/fabric/embroidery to begin the creation of each gown, unique to bride.

Though beautiful, Kerri understands that microfibers from scrap material pollute the food chain via ocean dumping and washing. On average, a single synthetic clothing item releases 1.7 grams of microfibers per wash. The microfibers then release into wastelands and oceans. While many forms of bridal fabric are biodegradable, the synthetic ones which are used for some beads, trim, lace and embroidery that go into making a gown beautiful are bad for the environment. Her commitment to sustainability and the environment is the driving force behind her design process.

In efforts to responsibly source all lace, silk, fabric and embroidery material, Kerri’s current made-to-order system utilizes the bare-minimum product. In addition, she strives to utilize 80% biodegradable fabric. By 2025, Kerri will responsibly source all garment product, thus eliminating the use of unnecessary waste fabric for exactly what is needed to make each dress uniquely perfect.
